GRAVIBIDterms

Terms of service and privacy

The rules of the board, in plain words. The short version: a square is a place in a live ranking that follows what was paid; it goes live the moment you pay and is not refundable; your logo is used across the Service, games included; we can remove what breaks the rules; write to hello@onoirstudio.com for anything else. Version 2026-08-23.

1. Who we are and what this is

Gravibid (gravibid.com, “the Service”) is operated by Onoir Studio Ltd, a company registered in Ireland (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@onoirstudio.com.

These terms are a contract between you and us. They apply to everyone who visits the Service and, in full, to everyone who pays for a square, publishes on Orbit, or plays the games. By using the Service you accept them; by ticking the box before a payment you confirm you have read them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Version 2026-08-23. We may change these terms; the version in force when you pay is the one that applies to that payment, and the current version always applies to your use of the Service from the day it is published.

2. How the board works

The board shows squares. Each square belongs to a link (a website, a profile, a store page) and carries a logo or a name. The size of a square and its place in the ranking follow the total amount paid for that link: the more that has been paid, the bigger the square and the higher its place. The arrangement of the board is computed by us from those totals and may change at any moment as others pay.

A square is not a fixed position, a fixed size, or a fixed duration. It is a place in a live ranking. When somebody pays more for their link than has been paid for yours, your square becomes smaller and moves down. There is no way to lock a square, and we make no promise about how long a square will hold any size or place.

Paying again for the same link adds to its total. Payments are never split, moved to another link, or converted into credit.

A link may be claimed by anyone. We do not verify that the person paying for a link owns or represents it. If a square is claimed for a link you own by somebody without the right to do so, write to us (section 9) and we will look into it.

3. Payments, prices and taxes

Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices are shown and charged in US dollars; your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion rate and fees. The minimum amount is shown on the claim screen and may change.

The amount you pay is the price of the Service as described in section 2, nothing more. It is not a deposit, a bid that can be withdrawn, a subscription, or an investment, and it does not earn anything back.

Prices do not include any tax that may be due in your country. Where we are required to charge VAT or a similar tax, it is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Any tax due on your side (for example where you account for VAT yourself as a business) is your responsibility.

If a payment is reversed by your bank (a chargeback) or a charge is disputed, we may remove the square it paid for and may refuse further payments from you.

4. Refunds and the right of withdrawal

A square is a digital service that is delivered in full the moment your payment clears: the square appears on the board at once and the Service has then been performed. By ticking the box and paying, you expressly ask us to begin performing the Service immediately, and you acknowledge that you thereby lose any right of withdrawal (including the 14-day right under EU consumer law) once performance has begun.

For this reason, payments are not refundable. In particular, no refund is due because another person later paid more and your square became smaller or lower, because you changed your mind, because you entered the wrong link or amount, because your logo was shown as a colour block while it was being checked, or because you asked us to remove your square (section 9).

We refund in two cases: if we remove your square for a reason that was not your fault and not covered by section 6 (for example a fault in the Service), or if a payment was taken in error. Write to hello@onoirstudio.com within 14 days with the payment receipt; refunds go back to the card that paid. Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

6. What is not allowed

You may not use the Service, a square, a link, a logo or a post to:

  • link to, show, or promote anything unlawful, including content that infringes copyright or trade marks, defamation, fraud, malware, phishing, or sales that are illegal where you or we are;
  • show sexual content involving anyone, content that sexualises minors, graphic violence, or material that promotes hatred or discrimination against people on the basis of who they are;
  • impersonate a person or company, or claim a link for a company you do not represent in a way that misleads;
  • post spam, or use Orbit or the games to manipulate rankings, votes or results, including with scripts, multiple identities or paid votes;
  • attack the Service: probing, scraping at volume, overloading, bypassing payment or moderation, or interfering with other people’s use;
  • use the Service if you are under 18, or under the age at which you can enter this contract where you live.

If you break these rules we may remove your content, remove your squares, refuse future payments and, where the law allows, keep what was paid. We may also report unlawful content to the authorities.

7. Checking, moderation and our right to act

Images are checked before they show on the board; until then the square shows as a colour block. Checking is automated and human and usually takes minutes, but we give no time guarantee. We may decline an image without giving a reason; you may then use a name and colour instead.

We may edit how a square is presented (for example crop, resize or reposition a logo so it fits the board), move or re-lay the board, change how the ranking is computed, change what the games do with logos, and change, suspend or end any part of the Service, at any time. Where a change makes the Service materially worse for a square you paid for in the last 14 days, section 4 applies.

8. Orbit posts, games and votes

Orbit lets people with a square publish posts under their own name. Posts are your content (section 5) and must follow section 6. Readers vote posts up and down; we order the feed by those votes, by recency and, on the front tab, by what authors paid for their squares, and we may change these orders. Votes, scores, streaks, badges and arena results are for play only, have no monetary value and may be reset at any time.

The games are offered as they are. The Arena runs in your browser with other players in real time; we do not guarantee fair play, availability, or the accuracy of any score. There is no prize, wager or payout in any game.

9. Removing a square or a post

If you want your logo, square or post taken off the Service, write to hello@onoirstudio.com from an address connected to the link or the payment, and say what you want removed. We will remove it within a reasonable time, normally a few days. Removal is at your request and is not refunded (section 4). Copies may remain for a while in caches, backups and images already shared by others.

Rights holders who believe a square or post infringes their rights, and anyone who believes content breaks section 6, can write to the same address with the link and a short explanation. We respond to every notice.

10. No warranty, and the limits of our liability

The Service is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that the board, the games or Orbit will bring you any visitors, sales, attention or other result. Everything you see on the board and in Orbit comes from the people who paid for it; we do not endorse it and are not responsible for it, nor for the sites that squares link to.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, or for any loss arising from content published by others, from the actions of other users, or from your own content. Our total liability to you for everything arising out of the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

11. Your responsibility to us

You will compensate us for any loss, claim, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) that arises from your content, from your breach of these terms, or from your use of the Service in breach of the law or of somebody else’s rights.

12. Email, links and your square's page

We ask for an email at checkout so that we can send your receipt, tell you when somebody pays more than you, and send you links to manage your square. Those links act as your sign-in: anyone with the link can act on your square, so keep them to yourself. We are not responsible for what happens if you share them.

Your square comes with a page on the Service at an address built from your link. We may change address formats; old addresses redirect where we can.

13. Privacy

We collect what the Service needs and little else. This section is our privacy notice under the GDPR; the controller is Onoir Studio Ltd, Ireland, contact hello@onoirstudio.com.

  • Payments. Stripe processes your payment and holds your card details under its own privacy policy. We receive your email, the amount, the link and a payment reference, and keep them as the record of your purchase (legal basis: contract, and our legal duty to keep accounting records, typically for six years).
  • Your square and content. The link, name, logo, tagline, social handles and posts you give us are public by nature: the Service exists to show them. They are processed on the basis of the contract.
  • Email. We email you about your square (receipt, outbid notices, management links). We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
  • Visitors, votes and games. To keep votes, games and the arena honest we set a cookie that identifies your browser (a random token, no personal data in it) and we record, per action, a hash of the network you come from and your browser. We keep these as long as the votes and results they protect. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in preventing manipulation. No advertising cookies are set and we do not sell or share data with advertisers.
  • Logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (address, page, time) for a short period for security and reliability.
  • Processors. Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and real-time), Resend (email), and an image host for logos. Some of them process data outside the EEA under standard contractual clauses.

You have the rights the GDPR gives you: to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it erased where we no longer need it, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland. Write to hello@onoirstudio.com.

14. Law, disputes and the rest

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. Disputes go to the courts of Ireland, unless you are a consumer in another EU country, in which case you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country and may bring a claim there. The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

If a part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a term on one occasion does not mean we give it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a successor of the Service. These terms, together with the claim screen and any notice we publish on the Service, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
